About paper toothpaste

  • How dirt is removed
Paper toothpaste cleans the inside of the oral cavity with a soaked liquid. And the paper itself has a mesh structure, so when you rub the dirt, it removes dirt with the mesh structure. Clean the oral cavity using two cleaning methods.
  • Contains xylitol. Cool mint makes your mouth feel fresh
I don't know if it's a technical issue or cost reduction with other companies' products, but
Our products often have no odor and have a refreshing feel.
  • Individually packaged type There are other companies' products (our company was the original to sell individually packaged products, and we followed suit) that have 15 sheets in one bag, like wet tissues.
This type of wet tissue has a large amount, but it has the disadvantages that it becomes dry after one use, and that the odor gets stuck in your bag when you carry it around.
Our company has also made wet tissue type products in the past, and then switched to individual packaging.
The advantage of individually wrapping them is that they can be stored for up to 8 years. Also, the scent will not reach your bag before use. It's small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, so you don't have to worry about carrying it or storing it, and you can put it in your suit pocket or next to your bed.

Also, there was a time when another company's product came out in individual packaging, but they quickly withdrew it and our product remains.

For disaster preparedness

(This product) is in high demand as a disaster prevention stockpile because it can be stored. They are used as stockpiles in various places such as NHK, universities, companies, ward offices, and storage bags in cars. However, although toilets are included in disaster prevention bags, tooth brushing (oral care) is not included, and awareness of oral care is currently low. Meanwhile, we also have disaster prevention bags that contain our paper, and we have received high support, especially from disaster prevention advisors.

If people are unable to take care of their oral health during a disaster, and even if they do have access to water, they don't save water or brush their teeth, which causes oral bacteria to proliferate and enter the lungs, leading to the development of aspiration pneumonia, which can be fatal. During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, many elderly people died from pneumonia. During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, we learned the importance of oral care during disasters, and during the Great East Japan Earthquake, people were warned about oral care at evacuation centers. This will help address issues such as crowding in the washrooms for brushing teeth and troubles between evacuees at evacuation centers.

【example】

  • When the washroom is crowded, elderly people can clean their mouths without getting up and use it when the washroom is empty.
  • When you want to clean your mouth in the middle of the night, you can brush your teeth while lying down without getting up.

    our mission

Our city, Uwajima City, suffered severe damage from the July 2018 heavy rain disaster and lost 13 precious lives. As the Ushioni Conference, which was set up to overcome this disaster, held discussions to share information and solve problems, it became clear that an "intermediate support organization" was needed to play a coordinating role by connecting people, groups, and information. We came to the conclusion that local groups and a variety of citizen activities should be utilized for future town development, and decided to launch the ``Uwajima NPO Center,'' a specified non-profit organization.

We will continue to work with citizens, civic groups, and NPOs (non-profit organizations), as well as with governments, social associations, companies, etc., as an intermediary support organization that plays the role of "connecting" citizens across sectors. We will do our best to make Uwajima City better able to respond to disasters.
