[Uwajima City commissioned project]
This year, the Uwajima NPO Center is conducting an experiential disaster prevention program in 2020 as a project commissioned by Uwajima City. This will maximize the power of the private sector, such as neighborhood associations and voluntary disaster prevention organizations that work on local disaster prevention efforts to prevent various disasters such as the Nankai Trough mega-earthquake, landslides, floods and other water damage, and storm surges. The aim is to improve disaster preparedness and preparedness during evacuation, and to improve local disaster prevention capabilities through further self-help and mutual assistance.
