12/13 (Monday) 17:00~

The 3rd “Disaster Prevention Seminar” of the 2nd course was held!

This time, Fukushima Prefectural Fukushima High School, Ehime Prefectural Uwajima Higashi High School,
Ehime Prefectural Uwajima Minami Secondary Education School, Ehime Prefectural Minami Uwa High School,
Okayama Prefectural Yakage High School, Nada High School
Discussion by students from 6 schools!

High school students who were connected by the event of ``large-scale disasters'' will discuss ``what is a region'' and ``what is life'' in order to create a local community for the next X-day, including disasters that have occurred in each region and disaster victim experiences. We talked about "what is connection?"

This time's theme: "Disaster-stricken areas and non-disaster areas" How can we think about them as our own affairs?

(Flow of the day)

After the last seminar, each school presented what they had put into practice.

A (Yakage High School) Survey on disasters, report on the smell of disaster mud

B (Nada High School) Disaster prevention equipment and measures within the school

C (Uwajima Team) 6 schools joint evacuation drill

D (Fukushima High School) Disaster Prevention Awareness Survey Questionnaire

Then we used Zoom breakout rooms.

This time, we have introduced a free room selection and free movement system.

The students joined the group they wanted to speak in, exchanged opinions with other schools, and sometimes moved around the room on their own to deepen the discussion and have them make presentations.

It has evolved even more than the previous version.

Students are increasingly taking the lead, and adults are becoming overwhelmed.

Please take a look at the power of children who are creating the future.
