2025年8月3日、「ブラ防さんぽ」が吉田町で開催されました。江戸時代から続く町並みと、平成30年7月豪雨災害の跡地を、地元の語り部さんとともに歩いて巡る防災学習イベントです。
徳島県からは、徳島城東高校・徳島北高校の生徒、防災人材センターの職員など計5名が参加。
猛暑の中、水分補給をこまめに行いながら、吉田町図書館や歴史ある建物、被災地などを訪れ、地域の歴史と災害の記憶を学びました。
今回の活動では、参加者の防災意識を高めるだけでなく、地域の魅力を知る良い機会ともなりました。地元の語り部さんの生きた証言を聞きながら歩くことで、地域の過去と未来をつなぐ体験となりました。
English Summary
On August 3, 2025, a “Disaster Prevention Walk” was held in Yoshida Town, Uwajima City, organized by the Uwajima NPO Center. Participants, including high school students and disaster prevention professionals from Tokushima Prefecture, explored streets unchanged since the Edo period and sites affected by the 2018 torrential rain disaster. Guided by local storytellers, they walked through the town while learning about its cultural history and past disasters. Despite the intense summer heat, proper hydration and pacing ensured a safe experience for all. This event strengthened disaster awareness and deepened appreciation for the town’s heritage.
