【体験型防災プログラム】

宇和島NPOセンターは、災害に備える力を中学生に養ってもらうため、城南中学校にて体験型防災プログラムを実施しました。

6班に分かれて災害対応カードゲームを体験。

平成30年7月豪雨で避難所運営を経験した方を講師に迎え、段ボールベッドの必要性と効果を学びました。床からの距離で衛生面が保たれることや、荷物を収納できるお得対策にもなる点などを実感しました。実際に横になった生徒からは「5人乗っても大丈夫!?」との驚きの声も。

災害時でも歯磨きの重要性について、生徒たちに問いかけながら進みます。「水がない中、歯ブラシがない場合どうするの？」という問いに興味深々。紙コップにペットボトルキャップ1杯の水使って歯磨きを実演。生徒たちは真剣に話を聞き、「家族にも伝えたい」との感想が寄せられました。

「防災を楽しく、体験で学ぶ」──災害時に必要な知識や行動力を、笑顔とともに育てる貴重な１日になりました。宇和島NPOセンターは今後も地域と連携し、防災教育を継続していきます。
