梅雨が明け、夏の気配が感じられる6月28日、戸島で第5回となる海岸清掃活動が行われました。参加者は4名と少人数でしたが、朝早くから意欲的に活動を展開。1トンバッグ4袋分の可燃ごみや発泡フロート、ロープ、大型プラスチックなどが回収され、10個の浮き球も集められました。
日差しのもとでの作業では、太陽の力を実感しつつ、清掃を通して自然との共生をあらためて考える時間となりました。「太陽に感謝」「次回も晴れますように」との声も聞かれ、ユーモアと前向きなエネルギーに包まれた時間となりました。

On June 28, 2025, the 5th coastal cleanup event was held on Toshi Island in Uwajima. Four participants joined early in the morning to clean the shorelines under the bright summer sun. They collected a variety of waste, including four large bags of burnable trash, rope, foam floats, plastic waste, and ten buoys. While working under the sun, the volunteers expressed their gratitude toward nature and shared a wish for sunny skies for the next event. The day was filled with warm laughter, teamwork, and a shared sense of environmental responsibility.
