[Uwajima City Commissioned Project "Reiwa 6 Experience-Based Disaster Prevention Program"]

-Through this experience, participants will become interested in disaster prevention and mitigation, and will be able to prepare themselves with a sense of crisis by creating a system that will enable them to act calmly in the event of a future Nankai Trough earthquake or other recent disasters.

On April 17th, we will be having members of a senior citizens' club who are living in fear in the Bungo Channel think about how they can prepare for emergencies, initial actions, necessary preparations, food, toilets, and water.

When Tenjin Community Center announced that an emergency notice of a Nankai Trough earthquake would be issued, people would evacuate from Ebisucho 1, but many people did not know this. I explained what would be good to have in an evacuation bag, and showed them examples of disaster prevention goods.

During the question time, many people asked questions and listened with great interest. They said that they had a very enjoyable time and that they had really learned something.

Some were conducting research in preparation for leadership activities.
