・The event is mainly held by high school students from all over Japan. Starting in 2020, the event will discuss disaster prevention activities at each high school, and what preparations should be made in anticipation of a large-scale disaster that may occur in the near future, connecting disaster-stricken and non-disaster areas and making it a personal issue. |

| 7- Overview |
This year marks the fifth session of the BOUSAI Seminar, and we are now able to carry out our activities with the long-awaited grant. We will be operating for one year as part of a grant project from the Noevir Green Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation, and we will also be creating a booklet on our activities so far. We received an amazing 66 applications from high school students ranging from Fukushima High School to Kumamoto High School, and the event will involve approximately 80 people, including teachers and management staff. I hope to be able to participate in the National Disaster Prevention Team 2024 in Kumamoto. This time, as a kickoff, the event was held to give high school students a simple understanding of what the BOUSAI Seminar is, what the BOUSAI National Team is, and how this year's program will proceed. I'm just excited. Please look forward to our future activities! |
