The tsunami arrived about an hour after the earthquake, but he never expected it to reach him. He was swept away by the tsunami because he had not evacuated, and he conveyed the horror of the tsunami at that time through videos and photos. The students also commented that they need to prepare for future disasters and discuss the situation with their families. After the lecture, a collection of hot water recipes for emergencies created by the Home Economics Club of Uwajima Higashi High School Tsushima Branch was distributed, and participants were encouraged to make these recipes at home with their families in preparation for future disasters. |
