-Through this experience, participants will become interested in disaster prevention and mitigation, and will be able to prepare themselves with a sense of crisis by creating a system that will enable them to act calmly in the event of a future Nankai Trough earthquake or other recent disasters.

A workshop to share issues and think of solutions, considering when and by what route to evacuate in the event of a disaster, how to make evacuation possible by considering various scenarios and making it your own.

Each of the three groups was asked to think about evacuation behavior based on the same scenario. Each group discussed and presented six scenarios, such as a woman in her 70s from Yoshida Town who was shopping for vegetables at Kisaiya Square.

The presentations were projected onto a screen in the gymnasium, and Professor Omoto, specially appointed associate professor at the Ehime University Organization for Promoting Regional Collaboration, provided advice to help students understand.

There were ideas that even adults would never think of, and we learned a lot from them.
