・Disaster prevention lecture aimed at women in the Koike area, where they can learn about disaster prevention knowledge such as displaying and introducing emergency carry-on bags, items that can be used in carry-out bags starting in the summer, and things women should have. We also created lanterns and candles that can be used in times of disaster using items that are readily available.

・Through this experience, students will become interested in disaster prevention and mitigation, create a system that allows them to act calmly in the face of future Nankai Trough earthquakes, and other disasters that have occurred in recent years, and develop a sense of crisis and the ability to prepare.

Sixteen people, including men, participated. After learning about the contents of emergency bags and how to use plastic wrap in a disaster, they made lanterns out of milk cartons.

I also learned that there are many ways to use milk cartons, such as using them as tableware and spoons.

Participants said they learned a lot and were happy that they could use it for their children's independent research during summer vacation.

I also noticed that everyone's faces looked more lively than when I arrived, and I felt that their awareness of disaster prevention had increased.
