| 7- Overview |
The evacuation drill began just after 7:00 in the morning, and each district evacuated to the first evacuation site after the siren sounded. Then, they went to the second evacuation site, Okuminami Elementary School. Children and their parents evacuated to Okuminami Elementary School, along with local residents. After that, the center divided the children into groups to play a HUG game (shelter management game). The children were in the same groups as the locals, so they discussed and thought about the problem. It seemed a little difficult for elementary school students, but it was wonderful to see them working hard and trying to solve the problem. After the evacuation shelter management game, The students had the opportunity to try out the assembly process, received first aid training from fire department personnel, and then worked in teams to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Afterwards, children and adults alike had fun experiencing the ladder truck, ambulance, and trying on fire protection clothing. |
