This time, Sasuke Naburu will be held in the morning!

What is Sasuke Naburu?

A workshop developed by the Fukushima University Saskenaburu Research Group to learn while solving problems that actually occurred in evacuation shelter management during the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Professor Amano was the facilitator for real participation, ZOOM was conducted simultaneously by a disaster prevention specialist, and Mr. Horie, a certified saskenable facilitator.

Due to time constraints, Sasuke Naburu was only one and a half hours long, but I was able to listen to a very informative lecture. I wanted more people to know about this Sasuke Naburu. During a disaster, the mission of a shelter is to save lives! I learned that if you are worried about management, you may be able to see things if you protect your life and go back to the basics.

I also found myself desperately trying to hold back the tears as I read the story of a person who was unable to make calm decisions during a disaster and ended up in trouble .

I also hope that we can use Sasuke Naburu to connect and protect as many lives as possible.

At the BOUSAI seminar in the afternoon, each school presented their efforts so far. In particular, Yakage High School in Okayama Prefecture created a scent recipe so that people in areas that had not yet been affected by the disaster could experience the smells of the time of the disaster, and on the day of the event, our center created a scent recipe based on that recipe. We asked real participants to smell it, and everyone looked sour as the level increased, and some even remembered that it smelled like this in Uwajima City.

Lastly, Fukushima High School announced a plan to enable high school students to manage evacuation centers. This also applies to voluntary disaster prevention organizations, and ultimately they will involve the local community and hold training sessions with local elementary, junior high, and high schools. The idea was to create a foundation through Shisasuke Naburu and to spread it across the country. The adults were impressed and the epic runaway was evident, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it develops next year!
