Uwajima Media Lab is a hands-on project where junior high and high school students residing in Uwajima City and university students from Uwajima interview local issues and promote the visualization of these issues and the development of future leaders by disseminating information through blogs in Japanese and English, FM radio, and YouTube. We record the present state of the region, connect people through voices, and foster new connections between people and the community.
Uwajima Media Lab is a hands-on project where local junior high and high school students, along with university students from Uwajima, research community issues and share them through bilingual blogs, FM radio, and YouTube. It helps to increase awareness of local issues, cultivate future leaders, and forge new connections between people and the community.

Future developments
Uwajima Media Lab is a practical division that reinforces intermediary support functions through youth participation and local outreach. Moving forward, we will visualize regional issues through interviews, record-keeping, and dissemination, and develop a communication platform that connects diverse stakeholders.

高校生講座｜全9回の予定と活動記録
地域を知ることから始め、取材・制作・発信へ。講座の予定と実施状況を、この一覧でお知らせします。活動報告は、準備ができた回から掲載します。
対象：宇和島市内の高校生 定員：20名
受講料：全9回 5,000円 期間：2026/09〜2027/02
未経験歓迎。スマートフォンだけでも参加できます。受講者には専用メールアドレスを貸与し、AIも活用して活動を進めます。
表中の「活動拠点」は、恵美須町商店街内活動拠点（ダンススタジオ・ステラ様前）です。

Our nine-session high school program runs from September 2026 to February 2027. This schedule tracks planned sessions, completed activities, and links to reports. The international exchange pre-event, joint open house, and final presentation are separate from the nine sessions.
中学生向けの継続的な地域クラブ活動｜2026/09/11更新
メディアラボ地域クラブ｜活動予定
地域を知り、自分の言葉で伝える。取材・写真・音声・文章による発信を、継続して学ぶクラブです。一部の活動は高校生と合同で行います。
対象：宇和島市内の中学生 募集人数：初年度10名程度
月額会費：3,000円 年間保険料：800円
通常の活動時間（原則）

土曜日 13:00〜15:30

特別講座は、通常活動と時間・会場が異なります。下記の個別日程をご確認ください。合同見学会の時間は、見学会の案内をご確認ください。中学生地域クラブは、県の助成対象には含まれません。

The Media Lab Community Club offers ongoing activities for junior high school students in Uwajima. Regular sessions are planned for Wednesdays, 18:00–19:30, and Saturdays, 13:00–15:30. The monthly fee is ¥3,000, plus annual insurance of ¥800. The start date and September dates for regular activities are still being arranged; the dates listed are tentative. Joint open houses are planned for September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12, 2026. The September 12 open house runs from 13:00 to 15:00; times for the later open houses are to be confirmed. Special sessions have different times and venues. The joint presentation event is tentatively planned for February 20, 2027; the date, time, and venue are not yet confirmed. This club is outside the prefectural grant program.

「まちかど放送局」は、地域の今を記録し、若者の発信活動を通じて人と地域をつないでいく実践的なメディア拠点です。音声発信、YouTube記録、英語活用などを通じて、地域の日常や課題を見える化し、新しい参加の入口を育てていきます。
The "Machikado Broadcasting Station" is a practical media hub that records the present of the community and connects people with the region through the communication activities of young people. Through audio broadcasting, YouTube recording, and English utilization, it visualizes the daily life and issues of the community, and fosters new entry points for participation.
This initiative is currently in the planning stage.
