市民、地域団体、学校、行政、社協、企業、NPOなどと平時からつながりを育て、災害時にも支え合える地域の土台をつくる部門です。
This division builds connections in peacetime with citizens, community groups, schools, local government, social welfare councils, businesses, NPOs, and other partners to create a community foundation where people can support one another in times of disaster.

Building Relationships for Mutual Support in the Community
地域で支え合う関係づくり
災害時の支え合いは、平時のつながりから始まります。地域防災連携部門では、茶話会や交流の場を通じて、住民同士が顔を合わせ、話し、支え合える関係づくりを進めます。こうした日常の関係が、災害時の声かけ、安否確認、情報共有の土台になります。
Mutual support during a disaster begins with everyday community connections. The Regional Disaster Resilience & Collaboration Division creates opportunities for residents to meet, talk, and build relationships through tea gatherings and other community exchange activities. These daily connections become the foundation for checking on one another, confirming safety, and sharing information during times of disaster.
Learning Community Disaster Preparedness with Children
子どもたちと学ぶ地域防災
防災は、大人だけが担うものではありません。地域防災連携部門では、学校、公民館、子ども食堂、地域団体と連携し、子どもたちが楽しみながら防災を学べる機会をつくります。防災グッズづくりや簡易トイレづくりなど、手を動かす体験を通じて、家庭や地域で備える意識を育てます。
The Regional Disaster Resilience & Collaboration Division works with schools, community centers, children’s cafeterias, and local organizations to create opportunities for children to learn about disaster preparedness in an enjoyable way. Through hands-on activities such as making emergency kits and simple portable toilets, children develop awareness of preparedness at home and in the community.

地域の記憶と資源を未来へつなぐ
地域の防災力は、地形や避難経路を知ることだけでなく、その土地の歴史、文化、自然、暮らしの記憶を共有することからも育まれます。地域防災連携部門では、住民や専門家、地域団体と協力しながら、地区ごとの地域資源や災害の記憶を見える化し、次世代へ伝える取り組みを進めます。
Community disaster resilience grows not only from knowing local geography and evacuation routes, but also from sharing the area’s history, culture, nature, and memories of daily life. The Regional Disaster Resilience & Collaboration Division works with residents, specialists, and local groups to identify community resources and disaster memories, and pass them on to the next generation.

地域団体をつなぐ中間支援
宇和島には、福祉、子育て、まちづくり、環境、教育など、さまざまな分野で活動する団体があります。地域防災連携部門では、こうした団体の活動を紹介し、必要な人と必要な支援、参加したい人と活動の場をつなぎます。平時から団体同士の顔が見える関係を育てることが、災害時の連携にもつながります。
Uwajima has many organizations working in welfare, childcare, community development, the environment, and education. The Regional Disaster Resilience & Collaboration Division introduces these groups, connects people to needed support and participation opportunities, and strengthens collaboration before disasters occur.

The Disaster Support Division handles practical support activities, such as on-site disaster response, cleanup activities, heavy machinery training, and support for hard-to-reach areas.
In contrast, the Regional Disaster Resilience & Collaboration Division connects people, organizations, and information in peacetime, building relationships that make collaboration easier when disasters occur.

相談できます。地域での防災学習、子ども向けワークショップ、地域交流、ボランティア参加、団体紹介、情報共有などについて、内容に応じて一緒に考えます。実施時期や対応内容は、センターの体制や協力団体との調整により決定します。
Yes, they can. We can discuss community disaster preparedness learning, children’s workshops, community exchange activities, volunteer participation, organization introductions, and information sharing according to your needs.
