For this tea gathering, we borrowed a vehicle from the Uwajima City Council of Social Welfare and went on an outing with eight older adults and two center staff members. We started with lunch and then headed to a place where we could enjoy nature and feel the atmosphere of spring.
Although the cherry blossoms at our planned destination were not quite what we had hoped for, the travel time itself became a rich opportunity for dialogue.
