Yoshida Junior High School Workplace Experience Program Report

The Uwajima NPO Center once again hosted Yoshida Junior High School's annual workplace experience program. This year, with the cooperation of two affiliated businesses, we were able to offer workplace experience at two locations. This allowed for experiential learning with a broader perspective.

🏬 Activities
- Experience at Minami Shikoku Farm: Students experienced inspecting, bagging, and displaying tangerines harvested by the owner.
- Activities at NPO Orange Queen: Participated in the "Iki Iki Exercise Class" and provided support for elderly participants' exercises.
💡 Why was this activity conducted?
Due to ongoing requests from Yoshida Junior High School, the aim is to provide junior high school students with real-world work opportunities within the community. As an NPO Center, we actively cooperate every year as part of our efforts to "expand learning opportunities in the community."
✍️ Impressions
It was very meaningful that we were able to provide diverse experiences not limited to a single business, thanks to the cooperation of two partner businesses. I believe it became a workplace experience with a little "added value."
