活動概要
瀬戸内オーシャンズXは、瀬戸内海の環境保全を目的とした「日本財団：瀬戸内オーシャンズX」プログラムにおいて、第14回目の海岸清掃活動を実施し、宇和島NPOセンターは清掃活動のサポートを行いました。
活動場所は宇和島市の戸島海岸。早朝6時より、多くの参加者が集まり、海岸線に打ち寄せられた多種多様なごみの収集に尽力しました。特に近年問題視されているマイクロプラスチックの存在も確認され、環境への影響を再認識する機会となりました。
漂着ごみには可燃ごみ、不燃ごみの両方が含まれており、分別をしながらの作業が続きました。「終わりなきもの」と表現されるように、海のごみ問題の根深さを改めて痛感する一日となりました。

Activity Summary
The Setouchi Oceans X conducted the 14th beach cleanup as part of the Nippon Foundation's “Setouchi Oceans X” program aimed at preserving the marine environment of the Seto Inland Sea, and Uwajima NPO Center supported their cleaning activities.
Held at the Toshima Coast in Uwajima City, the activity started at 6:00 AM with many participants gathering to remove a wide range of debris washed ashore. Microplastics, a growing environmental concern, were also found, emphasizing the urgency of the issue.
Combustible and non-combustible wastes were sorted during the operation. As reflected in the comment “Endless task,” the activity highlighted the persistent nature of marine pollution and the ongoing need for local action.
