In Yoshida Town, the amount of garbage has been decreasing through continued efforts. This time, many volunteers worked hard in the heat to pick up even microplastics. Many children also participated, and future guardians of the ocean were born. After the event, you can fill your heart and your stomach with homemade curry made by local mothers. In Tsushima Town, many volunteers participated, just like the previous day. As it was approaching high tide, they picked up the rubbish that had washed up, being careful where they stepped. Regular participants were happy to see the amount of rubbish decreasing year by year, while first-time participants struggled to work in the heat. At the end of their activities, everyone soothed their fatigue with curry from a food truck. A total of 81 garbage bags were collected. Thank you to everyone for your hard work. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
