7- Overview |
11 elementary school students participated. Since the opening ceremony had just finished last time, there were students from other elementary schools, so it seemed that they had not yet become friends, but it seems that they were able to become friends through this Catfish School. The elementary school students worked hard, some of them were highly motivated, and some of the teams came up with great answers that were not in the example from the Catfish School. I told them that there is not just one answer. Eight junior high school students participated, and many of them knew each other, so it was easy to get started. We talked about things to be careful about when running a shelter and the Catfish School. Like the Catfish School, the students learned in a fun way, took it home, and learned about the reality of what would happen. One student said that he wanted to do some research on his own. |
