7- Overview |
At a salon for about 15 elderly people, we used furniture tip-prevention flips from Iza! Frog Caravan to teach them how to prevent furniture from tipping over and to find mistakes in installation, and we also held a disaster prevention bottle workshop using items from a 100-yen store. We asked participants to walk up to the front to choose what to put inside, and then they made a bottle that suited them. Some people asked questions about preventing pianos from tipping over, and some people are actively working to prevent their own homes from tipping over, and we felt that awareness has increased since the earthquake on April 17th. The next disaster prevention event will be held at Tsurushima Community Center at the end of September, and everyone promised to complete their disaster prevention bottles by then. |
