This time at Inubi Shokudo, members of Counseling Art Kobo came and performed on the drums. The performance was divided into two parts, and the children were able to try their hand at drumming, which the children enjoyed. At our center, we had a shaved ice and cafe corner and were able to provide 100 shaved ice cubes. It was very popular, and the local high school students who had volunteered last time came to help out and knew most of the children's names, so we had fun calling out to them and doing the work. All 170 meals were sold out, and although some people had never heard of Inubi Shokudo, it was so popular that the Children's Shokudo Liaison Council was contacted. The children who visit are full of energy, and the number of children who do not remember the heavy rains of July 2018 is increasing. I think this gives me the strength to be active. The next one is scheduled for December. looking forward to! |

先日、吉田公民館で開催された子ども食堂に参加させてもらいましたが、味付けの事が気になってメールさせて頂きました。
今回のカレー、大人は大丈夫でも、子どもらは｢辛い!!辛い!!｣と言って、完食出来ませんでした。パスタ？も、ちょっと私も食べ馴れない味付けで残してしまって、楽しみにしていた分、子どもらも残念そうでした。
いつも我が家よりも小さな子どももたくさん来ているので、他のみんなは食べれたのかな…と考えてしまいました。
こういう場の方が子ども達も食が進みやすく、また次回も楽しみにしているので、特に辛さに関しては、もう少し考慮して頂きたいなと思いました。
