For the first time in a while, I was able to have a troubleshooting cafe corner at the children's cafeteria! Students from Yoshida Junior High School came as volunteers and helped out. There were also students who took a disaster prevention class last year, and we had fun talking with them. This time, in addition to conducting a needs survey, we also interviewed people about their feelings during the recent heavy rains. Among them was a person who was flooded during heavy rains five years ago. At that time, the mother said it was okay, but the water flooded. This time too, I called out to them to evacuate, but the mother said it was okay. However, at that time, it seemed that she did not trust her mother to say that everything would be okay, and I told her that her attitude was wonderful. The junior high school students still wanted to talk about various things and go home. Also, I'm looking forward to the next time. |
