This month too, I participated in Motokoro Shokudo! The staff members remembered our faces and naturally came to sit in the cafe corner, and we were able to have a great time. This time I asked a different question than usual! We asked them if they were affected by the July 2018 heavy rains, where they evacuated, and with whom they evacuated. It has become clear that there are dangerous areas in the area. And this time too, some people talked about the community. This time, members of the Red Cross Volunteer Corps were also present, displaying disaster prevention goods and distributing disaster prevention food. The weather was nice and the event was held in a tent, making it easy for people to gather, so many children came. I also had friends who drew pictures for me. Once I prepared something for the little ones to draw on, I thought I would prepare something for the next time because it would allow parents and children to have some time together. |
