| 7-Overview |
Bousai Kokutai 2024 in Kumamoto was held on October 19 and 20, 2024. The BOUSAI Seminar exhibited with a workshop from 16:30 to 18:00 on Saturday, October 19. The number of visitors far exceeded expectations, and some people were turned away due to capacity. We even ran out of prepared materials, making it a bustling workshop. Adults and students alike stimulated each other in discussions, and each school's initiatives were presented. What's more, a closing video for Bousai Kokutai was filmed, and we could feel that our efforts were being recognized in this third year. This time, we were able to conduct truly fulfilling activities thanks to the grant from the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Noevir Green Foundation. The exchange among high school students from across the country, and the fact that a high school from Aomori will participate from next time thanks to Bousai Kokutai, made this a very fruitful event. During the exchange session, students were able to connect with each other across schools and naturally formed bonds, seemingly realizing the joy of being connected through disaster prevention. In the future, we will hold a debriefing session and begin creating an activity booklet for this year. Please look forward to it!
