宇和島NPOセンターは、体験した災害から学び、これから起こる災害に備えるため、市民・団体が普段からお互いの顔の見える関係を育むための交流活動を行っています。牛鬼会議などの情報共有会議を運営し、市民の課題解決に向けた支援、またその環境作りを行います。
