2025.7.13 海ごみ清掃イベント in 知永（ちなが）
宇和島NPOセンター7月13日（土）、宇和島市吉田町の知永海岸にて、地域の海をきれいにする「海ごみ清掃イベント in 知永」が開催されました。
今回のイベントは、宇和島NPOセンターをはじめ、clean the coast、災害NPO宇和島7・7、宇和島市、ライオンズクラブ、そして地元住民の皆さんの協力により実施され、総勢約40名が参加しました。
暑さの厳しい中、参加者たちはテトラポットの隙間に落ちたごみを、手やトングを使って丁寧に拾い集めました。回収されたのは、可燃ごみ、不燃ごみ、マイクロプラスチック、そして昭和時代のレトロなパッケージのゴミなど様々。
清掃後は、吉田町で地域食堂を運営する「吉田いぬび食堂」特製のカレーライスとフルーツポンチが振る舞われ、参加者たちは達成感とともにおいしい食事を楽しみました。

🌍Beach Clean-up Event in Chinaga (Yoshida, Uwajima)
On July 13, 2025, a beach clean-up event was held at Chinaga Coast in Yoshida Town, Uwajima City. The initiative was organized by Uwajima NPO Center, clean the coast, Disaster NPO Uwajima 7.7, Uwajima City, Lions Club, and local residents, with around 40 people participating.
Participants collected trash that had fallen between tetrapods, including combustible and non-combustible waste, microplastics, and even retro packaging from the Showa era, sparking nostalgic conversations.
After the clean-up, everyone enjoyed a delicious curry lunch and fruit punch provided by Yoshida Inubi Shokudo, a local community kitchen. Though all the trash wasn't completely removed, the shared meal brought a strong sense of accomplishment to all.
